ORANGE RIVER
RAFTING TOURS

DAY 1

Meet at Witfontein Game Lodge outside of Hopetown, Northern Cape.

Here you will spend the first night at Witfontein Game Lodge - Camping.

DAY 2

You will have breakfast and then have a safety briefing, before beginning your journey down the Orange River. There is a stop for lunch, before we continue.

 

Once late afternoon rolls around, we set up camp for the night. Dinner will be provided and you can take the chance to relax and unwind.

You'll spend the night camping under the stars.

DAY 3

More of the same.

DAY 4

After breakfast, you'll be rafting until lunchtime.

There is a designated pickup location. You'll be taken back in a shuttle to the Witfontein Game lodge and spend the final night there.

Some Important Things To Know

 

  • The trip on river is about 60km long and you will average about 20km a day with a good river flow.

​

  • Our season is mostly in the warmer months of October - April, but winter trips can be arranged too.

​

  • We cater for all types of diets. However we need to be notified of any dietary requirements prior to booking.

​

  • We provide key camping equipment, eating utensils etc.'

​

  • We do groups of 8-10, but larger groups can be catered for too upon request.

 

  • All you need bring are snacks, alcohol, beverages, sleeping bag, 6l of water and a sense of adventure. Upon booking your trip, we'll email you with a full kit list of what to bring.
